We're still just following the news online (I've got about 10 tabs open) and on our TV. It seems that the coup is now happening. Tanks may or may not be moving through the streets. Reports that Morsi is under house arrest, along with other Brotherhood leaders. Outside our window everything still looks normal, while the soundtrack is the wild cheers of crowds and fireworks continuing at a consistently very loud volume on the TV broadcast from Tahrir. Tahya masr, tahyr masr, they're shouting, Long live Egypt! And Erhal, erhal -- Get lost! Still haven't heard anything specific from the military. This is my first coup -- not really sure what one is supposed to feel like? Why are people just moving about their daily business in my neighborhood?
